| Paying it Forward - fat chick style |

I recently saw the movie "Pay it Forward". I started thinking about how the idea could be used to make significant changes in lives of fat folks who may either be down on themselves, depressed or in need of other types of assistance.
In a nutshell, the idea behind this project is for fat chicks and interested friends, loved ones and/or family members to do a life-changing good deed for three fat folks. Each recipient of a good deed is then instructed, instead of paying it back, to "pay it forward" to three more fat folks, and so on.
The deeds themselves are up to the do-er, but they should be something bigger than simply putting money in a stranger's parking meter. The key guideline is that whatever it is, it should be something that will help improve the life of a fellow fat person. |

Some ideas for possible life-changing deeds are:
- Taking a BBTeen shopping and buying her a big beautiful outfit that makes her look and feel terrific.
- If you run a BBW/BHM-related business, donating some of your goods/services to a BBW/BHM to help improve their self-esteem and/or quality of life. For example, if you run a plus-size fashion business, giving a BBW a fashion makeover, and donating an outfit. Or, if you're a BBW photographer, offering an aspiring BBW model a couple of free professional photos for her portfolio, or offering a free "glam shot" to a BBW in need of a self-esteem boost.
- Offering to help a BBW/BHM with job-hunting skills.
- Showing a BBW/BHM how to stand up for themself, or standing up for them.
